Sarah has been attending Pure Studio for 2 years and has made many friends during her time here. She has taken part in lots of projects and has created an incredible volume of work.
Sarah is very commitment to her creative projects and taking part in community events is something she particularly enjoys. During her time here at the studio Sarah has created work that has been showcased at local arts festivals and exhibitions. The opertunity to share her work is very important to her and recently resulted in her first sale.
Sarah also took part in The Big Digital Project. An animation created by the group called My Stockport was projected onto the Produce Hall in Stockport and Manchester Town Hall. “I felt proud when I saw my work on the building. I went to the Manchester and Stockport show. I took all my friends and family, they thought it was good”.
In addition to Pure Studio, Sarah has found the time to take part in other Pure Innovations projects. One Voice, Radio Without Barriers, is a monthly show which is broadcast on Pure 107.8 radio station. Sarah was very happy to have taken part in the 50th show which was aired recently. Her roles included assisting with editing and presenting as well as researching content for shows.
Sarah is also delighted to have recently completed the Duke of Edinburgh bronze & silver awards. To achieve this she had to take part in a sleepover at the Manchester Museum and a expedition to Linet Clough in Marple. Congratulations Sarah!
Sarah’s work is available to buy from the Studio shop. You can buy from her own range of greeting cards, screen printed t-shirts and prints.
